Activities for non-skiers

Activities for non-skiers

For the non-skier who wants to get away from it all, there are organised hikes and snowshoe walks during which you will discover more of our mountain scenery and the whole of the Belleville Valley (you'll feel like you're in a different world!). There are plenty of signposted and groomed trails for you to explore, crisscrossing Belleville's different hamlets and villages. A map of footpaths and routes is available at the Tourist Office and at our reception desk. The difference in altitude along the various footpaths varies from 400 metres to 1000 metres (suitable for all types of walker).

Cable car rides: pedestrian access to certain peaks and mountain top restaurants, and access to the new Bob and Rock toboggan run.

Snowmobiling: guided trips every evening once the slopes have closed, in certain authorised areas.

Cross-country skiing trails around the lake and in the Belleville Valley. 28km of marked out trails, looping through forests so that skiers can enjoy the pleasures and tranquillity of the mountain environment.

Every week, there are performances by artists and a free jazz or classical music concert is held in the hall beneath the Les Menuires bell tower.

To help you get back into shape gently, the resort has a number of health and well-being centres offering jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, UV cabins, massage rooms and facial and bodycare beauty treatments.

Finally, fine food lovers will be able to try out a number of prestigious restaurants, such as the Oxalys (awarded one star by the Michelin Guide), which is just on the way in to Val Thorens (10kms) and La Bouitte (awarded two stars by the Michelin Guide) in Saint Marcel (8km).
