Restaurant opening periods

Winter season: open from 4 December 2010 to 23 April 2011, 7 days a week, lunchtime and evening.

Summer season: open from 4 July to 29 August 2010, lunchtime and evening, closed on Mondays.

The philosophy of the Oxalys restaurant and of its Chef Jean Sulpice is based respect for fresh produce prepared in a creative and refined way, bringing mountain plants back in vogue.

Let yourself be tempted by the menus and à la carte dishes full of seasonal flavours and aromas and enjoy the unique panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains of the Vallée des Belleville from the terrace or elegant and convivial dining room.

The Michelin-starred Chef invites you to sample a simple, flavoursome cuisine and works alongside his wife Magali to help you select rare, authentic wines to accompany your dishes.

In an outstanding environment and with the whole team there to fulfil your wishes you will rediscover the produce of the Savoy region and spend a special moment - an experience to be repeated to your heart's desire!

Getting here

car service: if you are staying in the resort at Val Thorens, our chauffeur can come and pick you up and take you back to the foot of your building, on prior reservation.

from the pistes: easy access via the 3 Vallées circuit. At the top of the Mont de la Chambre coming from Les Menuires or Méribel, take towards Val Thorens and ski down the Pluviomètre piste or Plein Sud piste towards Le Cairn. Rapid return to the 3 Vallées via the Plein Sud chairlift 400m from the restaurant terrace.

by car: take the N90 to and leave at exit 40. Climb to Val Thorens (40km): the restaurant is at the entrance to the station. Take the first right immediately after the ski bridge and the Oxalys residence and restaurant are 150m further on, beneath the Cleb Med.

There is free authorised parking in front of the entrance to the residence (about 15 authorised parking places).

by helicopter: landing possible at the station DZ 500m from the restaurant.

• Direct access from the Plein Sud piste: people arriving by ski will find warm socks and slippers waiting for them so as to dine in comfort.

• Easy access for disabled people: restaurant dining room on the ground floor with no steps to go out onto the terrace.
