La Plagne ski area
La Plagne is a vast ski area offering plenty of variety, from challenging skiing for experts, to walks for the holidaymaker who prefers to get away from it all, to perfectly designed snow parks where teenage fans of the latest snow sports can enjoy themselves to the full.


There are ten resorts connected to one another by superb slopes and state-of-the-art ski lifts. With differences in altitude of up to 2000 metres, technical difficulties to negotiate and beautiful scenery that varies from the permanent snow seen at high altitudes (3350 metres) to the forest borders in the lower valley, this is a very vast and diverse ski area to explore:
  • 225km of slopes divided into 130 runs (18 black, 33 red, 69 blue and 10 green runs)

 

  • One fully equipped glacier

 

  • 359 snow cannons providing artificial snow cover for 133 hectares of slopes.

 

  • 1 snowpark, 3 boardercross runs, 1 half-pipe.

 

  • An easy link with the Les Arcs sector and the Paradiski ski area, which links La Grande Plagne with Peisey Vallandry and Les Arcs.

 

To give an idea of prices, a 6-day pass for the La Grande Plagne sector during the main season (between Christmas and mid-April) costs 203 euros for an adult and 152 euros for a child under the age of twelve.

For cross-country skiers, the La Plagne ski area also includes 80km of cross-country trails, mainly located near the lower altitude village resorts.

Paradiski ski area

The Paradiski Ski Area linking the three sectors of La Plagne, Peisey Vallandry and Les Arcs, has a total of:

 

  • 425km of slopes

 

  • 626 snow cannons providing artificial snow cover for 228 hectares,

 

  • 37 black, 65 red, 129 blue and 11 green runs, making a total of 242 runs

 

  • 2 snowparks, 3 boardercross runs, 2 boardergliss and 1 half pipe

 

 

 To give an idea of prices, a 6-day pass for the Paradiski  discovery (one day extension for Paradiski sector) during the main season (between Christmas and mid-April) costs 216 euros for an adult and 162 euros for a child under the age of twelve.

 

 The price for 6 days Paradiski area is 243€ for an adult and 182.50€ for a child under 12 year's old.
