The concept of Montagnettes was born in Val Thorens in 1992 from 3 major ideas:
- Designing large, cosy apartments with a very mountain atmosphere (fireplace, wood etc.) because this type of accommodation did not exist at this altitude.
- Create an accommodation concept " calibrés " to facilitate the marketing of stays with Tour Operators.
- Build modestly sized establishments to personalise the welcome.
3 collections of stays
We have always been keen to offer a new way of staying in the mountains, to recreate places where people can live, enjoy the atmosphere, share and reunite with their families. A form of hospitality based on listening to our clients.
Our visitors come mainly from all over Europe and sometimes from much further afield. They are looking for exceptional ski areas, space, intimacy, comfort, atmosphere and welcome but also authenticity and a real relationship.
It is they who have helped us with their remarks and suggestions to deepen our initial ideas by progressively improving the ambiences and interior decorations, and by developing a whole range of services that reflect our values. Each style of holiday is thus offered to everyone.
- From cottage propertieswhere you like to feel " comme to maison ", in a cosy and rustic atmosphere, with fireplace and alpine inspired decoration. Top-of-the-range without flashy luxury or useless details. These residences, close to the slopes, have been the original base of our offer and have allowed us to impose ourselves among tourism professionals.
- Then 4-star residences with the hotel services related to accommodation, in a personalised, top-of-the-range and rewarding universe, to be able to enjoy complementary services such as wellness areas, swimming pool, bar, restaurant... Plus a real support in the organisation of your holidays.
- Finally 4 star hotels with apartment-suites that systematically include hotel services that meet the standards and requirements of hotel guests.
2012, a turning point
The birth of the Hameau of Kashmir in 2012 was a significant turning point for all employees, an incomparable enrichment that we continued with the opening of the Taos in 2016. An adventure that we share within the company and with our clients. We are fortunate to be able to carry out a deeply human activity, without routine or boredom. It's a real luxury!
The sales team, composed of 8 persons under the aegis of Natacha, sales and marketing director, is generally your first contact, whether on the internet or by phone and email.
We propose you stays in the mountains without constraints, with the assurance of being able to find flexible product offers that adapt to the style of the vacations of each one: option apartment, option residential and option hotel, trying to answer all the problems.
