Yes, the Aiguille du Midi cable car departs from downtown Chamonix, near Lizzie, and offers one of the most spectacular views in the Alps of the Mont Blanc massif; it is open year-round, weather permitting.

Val Thorens Tignes offers a vast, high-altitude ski area accessible right from your doorstep. Chamonix offers a more authentic experience, combining a lively village at the foot of Mont Blanc with skiing, mountaineering, and glacier hiking—an atmosphere more akin to the “wild mountains” than to a “fully developed resort.”

Both. Chamonix is as much a ski resort as it is a world capital of mountaineering: Lizzie lets you enjoy the slopes in winter, and then hiking, via ferrata, or mountaineering with high-mountain guides once the warm weather arrives.

When you stay at Lizzie, you’ll receive the Chamonix Valley Guest Card, which gives you access to discounts on transportation and certain local activities throughout your stay. Details about the current benefits are available at the front desk.

Yes, the Chamonix train station is right next to Lizzie: the Montenvers train, which goes to the Mer de Glace, departs from downtown, as does the Mont-Blanc Express, which connects Chamonix to Martigny, Switzerland.

Jatera! is the restaurant at Parc Victoria in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Its name, which evokes the Basque tradition of conviviality around the table, sets the tone for a restaurant that celebrates the identity of the Basque Country and welcomes both locals and visitors alike.

Yes, our four restaurants— La Table, Jatera!, Lisca , and Lizzie—also welcome non-residents. We recommend reserving a table in advance, even if you’re staying at the resort, to ensure you have a seat.

The Lizzie restaurant is named after the hotel where it is located, in the heart of Chamonix. Open to both guests and non-guests, it rounds out a stay at the foot of Mont Blanc with a gourmet dining experience on site.

These apply to your first bookings as an individual customer and are then offered to you after a certain number of stays, as part of our loyalty program. The exact amount and threshold are indicated at the time of booking.

The balance is due several days before arrival; the exact deadline depends on your destination. If payment is not received by that deadline, the reservation may be canceled in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.

Change fees increase as the arrival date approaches; details can be found in our terms and conditions. Please note: Cancellation insurance is never refundable in the event of a change.

The accommodation rate remains the same; only the visitor's tax and additional services are adjusted based on the number of persons. The only restriction is that the total number of participants, regardless of age, cannot exceed the maximum capacity of the accommodation.

Yes, but the reservation is still in the guest's name: once the deposit has been paid, the guest's name can no longer be changed.

Yes, if you have purchased Montagnettes cancellation insurance: accommodation and additional services that have been paid for will be reimbursed as soon as you file a claim with the insurer, subject to the insurer’s approval of the claim and the submission of the required supporting documents.

Because unexpected events—such as illness, accidents, lack of snow, or work-related issues—can happen anywhere, whether in the mountains or by the water. This insurance guarantees a refund of any amounts you've already paid, so you can travel with peace of mind.

Our mountain resorts operate on the ski and summer season schedules. The " Villa Caroline " and " Parc Victoria " and Lizzie follow their own schedules. Updated dates are available at montagnettes.com.

Only in certain properties: one dog or cat per unit. Dogs must always be kept on a leash in common areas and are not allowed in the bar or restaurant (except for guide dogs). A flat fee per pet, and an additional cleaning fee if necessary, will be charged according to the rates provided at the time of reservation.
