Lizzie, facing Mont Blanc
Belle Époque Hotel in Chamonix
A place where history lives on in Chamonix
Lizzie was born out of a simple belief: the most memorable places are the ones that have a story to tell.
In Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc, a Belle Époque building with a Haussmann-inspired façade bears witness to an era when the valley was opening up to European travelers and the pioneers of mountaineering.
Lizzie draws inspiration from this legacy and from Elizabeth Le Blond, a pioneering photographer and mountaineer of the Belle Époque in the Alps, a symbol of daring and freedom.
Today, Lizzie reimagines this story in a boutique hotel in Chamonix, where Haussmann-style architecture and a Victorian atmosphere come together.
A journey back to the Alpine Belle Époque.

Lizzie's restaurant, " la table ," carries on the venue's legacy
At Lizzie’s, “ la table ” is part of the story. It carries on the spirit of the house and the Alpine Belle Époque.
Lizzie's restaurant is a dining spot in Chamonix where mountain produce and local producers from Haute-Savoie come together to create simple, authentic cuisine deeply rooted in the region.
Here, after a day on the mountain, we gather for both lunch and dinner in an atmosphere where time seems to slow down.
Light glides across the wood paneling, conversations get underway, and the kitchen complements these moments without ever interrupting them.
At Lizzie's, people don't just come for dinner. They come to continue a story.

Part home journal, part travelogue, it tells the story of what we don’t always see: a way of living history, here, at the foot of Mont Blanc.
A space where you can take the time to understand a place before experiencing it.
