The must-sees in winter in Les Menuires

Les Menuires is located in the Tarentaise valley in Savoie at about 1850 meters of altitude. The resort extends on two important slopes: La Masse and Le Mont de la Chambre. Belonging to the 3 Valleys area, the largest ski area in the world, it offers many opportunities to ski with slopes suitable for all levels: from beginners to experienced skiers. The best spots for skiing in Les Menuires

The Pointe de la Masse at 2804 m is the most spectacular place where you can ski in winter. To go up to the Masse, you take one of the fastest gondolas in France. You climb 1000 meters in only 8 minutes! Up there, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama with a scenography that allows you to admire the highest and most beautiful peaks of Savoie. The Mont Blanc is visible from the panoramic terrace. This is a good spot if you are looking for uncrowded and accessible slopes, whether you are a beginner or just looking for some peace and quiet.

Our favorite ? The Friendly Natural Park. This fun and educational trail invites you to discover the fauna and flora of the Parc de la Vanoise. Between slalom, picnic area, modules for young and old, you will have fun.

The other side, the Mont de la Chambre, is not to be outdone. After a beautiful descent of the Masse with its 1000 meters of difference in altitude, we go to the Roc des Trois Marches and the Mont de la Chambre, above the valley of Méribel. This vast area of open slopes leading to Les Menuires is the sunniest and one of the most pleasant of the 3 Valleys. Activities to do with the family

Les Menuires has two swimming pools where you can take the children during your stay. One is located at La Croisette au Break, in the center of town, and the other in the Espace Aqualudique & Wellness des Bruyères (La Bulle). The Roc'N'Bob is one of the must-do activities for the whole family. This 4 km long sledging run with a difference in altitude of 450 meters is a concentrate of strong sensations for young and old! The Speed Mountain, luge on rails, is also an activity not to be missed. You can go down a one kilometer track at your own pace or at full speed with turns and descents.

Chez Pépé Nicolas, located between Les Menuires and Val Thorens, is one of the most popular restaurants in the region. Close to the ski lifts is the restaurant L'Ours Blanc, which has a terrace with a magnificent view of the surrounding area. For a gastronomic meal, let yourself be tempted by La Ferme de Reberty.
