Sliding on the summits this summer

Access to the glacier and summer skiing is possible by funicular from Val Claret, so you can easily reach the summits as in winter.

What a joy to be able to ski at 3000m altitude on the Grande Motte glacier while enjoying the summer sunshine, you can almost ski in a t-shirt! Enjoy the freedom of being able to ski on 20 km of slopes between 2,724 m and 3,456 m in a unique setting under the coolness of the mountains.

Skiing, but not that...

Climbing the summits of Tignes in summer is also an opportunity to have a drink or a meal on a panoramic terrace.

Don't forget your sunglasses to protect yourself from UVs, a must for the mountains.

The resort also offers you the possibility to make accessible and spectacular glacier hikes in altitude. Accompanied by a high mountain guide, you will be able to experience the ascent of the La Grande Motte glacier. And for the less adventurous, you can simply walk in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, among the fauna and flora for exceptional hikes.

Being on a terrace unique in the world

The Tignes cable car is equipped with a roof terrace that promises an exceptional 360° view of the Mont Blanc peaks, the Cîme de Bellecôte and the Grande Sassière needle.

Victims of vertigo should refrain...the machine that starts at an altitude of 3,034 metres allows you to contemplate the Grande Motte glacier up to 3,456 metres at the arrival station, and this for five minutes, the time it takes to ascend.

Above the valley of the Leisse, the footbridge named "the flight of the lammergeyer", in homage to the birds that populate the valley, proposes to try to see specimens of this family of vultures.
